Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant to join our growing marketing and advertising team. Our comprehensive training program provides hands-on experience in marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional campaigns, visual merchandising, consumer market research, and event marketing. Team members who successfully complete the training program will have the opportunity to advance into a Marketing Team Lead role.

About the Role

As an Entry-Level Event Marketing Assistant, you will support the execution and growth of assigned marketing campaigns while helping increase brand awareness, customer engagement, sales, and customer retention.

You will represent brands at local events, retail promotions, and experiential marketing campaigns while developing valuable skills in sales, leadership, communication, customer service, and team management.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is interested in building a long-term career in marketing and advertising.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of event marketing and promotional campaigns
• Assist with customer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives
• Represent brands professionally at local events and retail promotional locations
• Interact directly with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Help drive sales through retail marketing and promotional campaigns
• Increase brand recognition through experiential marketing and community events
• Assist with campaign growth, performance, and day-to-day execution
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Develop strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Work independently on assigned projects as well as collaboratively with the marketing team
• Resolve customer concerns and make professional, informed decisions
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to work full-time hours, including some weekends for special events
• Bachelor's or associate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing brands in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively to a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Self-motivated, creative, organized, and results-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 1–2 weeks per year for additional training and professional development
• Previous experience in marketing, sales, customer service, events, or retail is a plus, but paid training is provided
