Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach (near Convention Center) - Virginia Beach, VA 23451Job Category: EngineeringAn Engineer with Doubletree by Hilton Virginia Beach is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel and continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing? As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel and convention centers continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas Respond to guest requests and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, professional and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, Tiling, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and masonry Conduct inspections and perform tasks related to preventive maintenance needs Record and report completed repairs and communicate in writing and/or verbally items that require further attention Must have a minimum of 1 year building maintenance/engineering experience or an Associate Degree in a related field, prefer hotel experience` Additional Task as requested.
