What You'll Be Doing

Complete a variety of residential and commercial HVAC maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work, including:

• HVAC system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs

• AC and heating unit preventive maintenance & filter changes

• Central air conditioning system service and repairs

• Heat pump diagnostics, servicing, and repairs

• Furnace diagnostics and heating system repairs (Gas/Electric)

• Ductless mini-split installation, servicing, and repairs

• Refrigerant leak detection, system pressure testing, and charging

• Compressor, fan motor, capacitor, and contactor replacements

• Thermostat installation, wiring, and smart control setups

• Condensate line clearing, drain pan repairs, and pump replacements

• Air duct inspection, minor repairs, and airflow optimization

• System performance checks and safety inspections

• Electrical control troubleshooting for HVAC equipment

• Preventive maintenance contract execution

• Punch list and digital work order completion

• Troubleshooting complex repair issues on-site

• Clear customer communication regarding repairs and recommendations

• Maintaining a clean and safe job site

Requirements

• 2+ years of HVAC maintenance, diagnostic, or repair experience preferred

• Strong diagnostic skills for both heating and cooling systems

• Ability to diagnose complex HVAC issues independently

• Professional attitude and strong communication skills

• Valid driver's license

• Reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment and tools

• Must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius of Virginia Beach, VA

• Own professional HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment (gauges, vacuum pump, recovery machine, meter, etc.)

• Smartphone with internet access

• Ability to take and upload clear job photos

• Ability to complete digital work orders

• General liability insurance (or willingness to obtain it)

• EPA Certification (Universal or Type II/III) or Journeyman/Master HVAC license is a major plus
