Job DetailsJob Location: Virginia Beach, VA 23459Position Title: Logistician II (Auto Tool Room Custodian/HAZMAT) Clearance Type: Secret Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Inventory and maintain supplies of all HAZMAT at LOGSU 2 Engineering. Issue and account for all HAZMAT issued to civilian employees and/or military personnel in the Engineering dept. Maintain Inspections of all compressed gas containers in Engineering and replace or retest as needed. Maintain and inspect all Engineering HAZMAT/HAZWASTE spaces and keep them within Navy standards for Inspections. Properly dispose of all hazardous waste within all HAZMINCEN Guidelines. Research and gather all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Submit Authorized User Lists (AUL) Requests through HAZMINCEN for AUL approval. Verify all HAZMAT requests are in command AUL. Receive Purchase authorization letters from NAVHAZMINCEN. Maintain Valid SDS for all HAZMAT on site. Inventory all tools and consumables through either direct inventory or turned in inventory sheets for LOGSU-2 Engineering Department local, detachment sites CONUS and OCONUS and verify against internal spreadsheets and DPAS. Issue all tools and consumables to personnel and maintain accountability with 1149’s or tool log. Maintain, repair, and/or replace broken or missing tools through both the military stock system and open purchase. Professionally deal with Vendors to receive and submit purchase requests through BIZFLOW.  Purchase and maintain all consumables through Vendors. Conduct Monthly inspections of above ground storage tank and all drum storage locations. QualificationsQualifications Complete and maintain HAZMAT required training through Environmental Compliance Assessment, Training and Tracking System (ECATTS). Minimum 1 year experience. Must meet the requirements to obtain and check out government vehicles for use in their official duties.
