The Army Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a Knowledge Management (KM)/Information Management (IM) specialist to provide support to U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), Director of Fleet and Joint Training Directorate (N7) in Virginia Beach, VA
Ā
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Knowledge Manager with experience in naval training events and exercises.Ā Echelon III or higher staff experience and a working knowledge or understanding of U.S. Navy fleet training programs and the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) are a must for this position. In addition, he/she will have excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills, as well as at least eight (8) years of applicable program analyst experience in:

U.S. Navy fleet and/or Joint training operations, policy, doctrine, systems, and staff procedures, including an understanding of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP), Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP), Fleet Training Continuum (FTC) and other Navy training policies

Managing/ prioritizing large, complex projects involving numerous stakeholdersĀ

Team and/or project leaderĀ
-
Leading working groups and cross functional teamsĀ
-
Leveraging best practices and handling multiple tasks and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverablesĀ

Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level in both written and oral format

Conducting fleet training analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solutions

Specific Functional Area duties include, but not limited to:

Provide SharePoint expertise to build and maintain forms and trackers, utilizing Power Apps, SharePoint Designer, and custom coding as needed

Develop and maintain the USFF/CPF TASKORD Live Tracker by linking and integrating Jira, Confluence, and Maximo

Create and maintain a searchable and filterable document databases on SharePoint.

Provide administrative support for meetings, conferences, and working groups, including managing digital action items and documentation.

Ensure all team-managed databases, e.g., Excel databases, and SharePoint sites are properly maintained, secured, and accessible to authorized personnel.
