Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Wytheville, VA. This long-term contract offers flexible scheduling, excellent hourly compensation, and cross-credentialing access at a nearby facility for expanded shift options.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Wytheville, VA

• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

• Start Date: ASAP

• Shift Requirement: 12 shifts/month

• Schedule:

  • Physician Shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

  • APC Coverage:

    • Mon–Thurs: 9a–7p & 12p–10p

    • Fri–Sun: 10a–10p

• Credentialing: Temp privileges available for clean files

• Cross-Credentialing Available: Additional shifts may be offered at a sister facility in Richlands, VA

Facility Details

• Annual ED Volume: 19,821

• Patients per Hour: 1.8

• ED Beds: 14

• EMR System: Medhost

• Admitting Orders: Required

Candidate Requirements

• Board Status: BE/BC in Emergency Medicine

• Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, PALS

• Licensure: Active Virginia Medical License & DEA
