About The Position

Virginia Urology Locums with Fast Credentialing

Highlights

• 30-day credentialing turnaround
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice provided
• Block scheduling available - work multiple days in a row, then off
• Ongoing assignment - steady volume without long-term commitment
• All-adult patient population

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Support includes 2 RNs, 1 MA, 1 NP/PA, and office staff
• On-site procedures and hospital consults
• Must supervise 1 advanced practice provider
• Volume: 20 patients per shift

Schedule

• Scheduled clinical hours + beeper call
• Only 1-2 weeks per month - choose what works for you
• Call ratio 1:1 with minimal callbacks (5%)
• 30-minute call response required
• Block coverage preferred - consecutive shifts available

Procedures and Cases

• General urology, ureteroscopy, TRUS, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy
• Includes ESWL and renal/bladder ultrasound
• No robotics or laparoscopic required

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Urology
• Active Virginia license required
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Must be available for night call and hospital consults

Credentialing Requirements

• 30-day credentialing window
• Temporary privileges available
