Facility Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for keeping our commercial/industrial facility operating efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning, heating (HVAC) systems
Maintain and service air compressors and associated equipment
Operate and maintain chilled water systems and variable frequency drive (VFD) pumps
Inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and related fire protection equipment
Service and monitor alarm systems (fire, security, and building automation)
Conduct general grounds maintenance including lawn sprinkler systems, and exterior upkeep
Perform building upkeep duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance tasks
Assist with new equipment implementations including electrical/conduit, compressed air, and cooling water line installation
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records
Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and work orders
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, codes, and environmental requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

3+ years of proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, air compressors, chilled water plants, and VFD-controlled pumps
Experience with fire sprinkler systems and alarm systems is a strong plus
Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 3Ph 480V, plumbing, and general building maintenance
Comfortable with the operation of boom and scissor lifts (certification a plus)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and perform duties in various weather conditions
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Availability for occasional after-hours emergency response
