Community Hope & Recovery Center in Beardstown, IL is looking for a passionate and forward-thinking individual to join our team as the Director of our Community Care Program.  The Community Care Director will be responsible for supervising employees and the services provided to senior adults living in Cass County. 

 

The Director will also be responsible for maintaining program files, preparing required reports and documentation, and ensuring that the Illinois Department on Aging program and Illinois Department of Public Health rules and regulations are initiated and followed.  Further, a successful Director will have a passion to serve the senior adults of our communities. 

 

Candidates must, at a minimum, possess a High School Diploma or GED.  However, preference will be given to individuals with a degree in Social Services or a related field, and to individuals with experience working in programs that provide services to senior adults.  Candidates must possess strong supervisory, communication and organizational skills, and is able to multi-task.

Candidates should be proficient in the use of basic computer skills and software. Must possess or be able to obtain a Supervisor HOST Certification through Illinois Department on Aging Maybe required to provide direct care as needed.  A valid driver's license is also required.
