How you’ll make an impact in this role
Architect Custom Recovery Plans: You’ll perform initial and ongoing assessments, transforming your clinical findings into a roadmap for patient success.
Empower Patients & Families: Beyond the exercises, you’ll act as a coach and educator, involving families in the care plan to ensure a holistic recovery process.
Deliver Evidence-Based Care: You will apply your technical skills and standard therapy interventions to help patients reach their functional milestones.
Grow Through Leadership: As you gain confidence, you will eventually mentor students and coordinate with PTAs and support staff, ensuring a seamless experience for every patient on your floor.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
