The Opportunity
As our Service Technician, you will report to the Account Manager maintain and service all JBT Marel chemical systems and machinery in customer packinghouses on a routine basis to ensure that they are functioning and are in good repair as determined by management.
Responsibilities
- Mixing and testing chemicals in the field to verify proper dilution and effectiveness
- Develop relationships with personnel and management
- Maintain proper records of chemical use to assure machinery down time is kept to a minimum
- Be responsible for inventory cost control and summer repair parts list
- Maintain proper inventory of leased machinery parts and chemical use at packinghouses to assure machinery down time and customer complaints are kept to a minimum
- Work with Technical Service to ensure application of JBT chemicals
- Complete checklists and fill in delivery log books for JBT requirements and food safety documentation
- The ability to fabricate, assemble and install Leased Machinery systems.
The estimated annual salary/hourly range for this role is $25-$35. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
