If so, TETER is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our growing Mechanical Engineering Team.
 
The Role
 
As a Mechanical Project Engineer at TETER, you'll lead the design and delivery of HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide range of building types. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop practical, efficient, and code‑compliant solutions-while mentoring junior staff and helping projects stay on track.
 
Project Engineer level (I or II) is based on experience, capabilities, and project complexity.

What You'll Do

  • Design and lead HVAC and plumbing systems from early design through construction
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and consultants
  • Guide production of construction documents and support QA/QC efforts
  • Support construction with RFIs, submittals, and site visits
  • Mentor junior engineers and drafters and support team development

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months via reciprocity
  • Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
