The Role
Â
As a Mechanical Project Engineer at TETER, you'll lead the design and delivery of HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide range of building types. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to develop practical, efficient, and code‑compliant solutions-while mentoring junior staff and helping projects stay on track.
Â
Project Engineer level (I or II) is based on experience, capabilities, and project complexity.
What You'll Do
- Design and lead HVAC and plumbing systems from early design through construction
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and consultants
- Guide production of construction documents and support QA/QC efforts
- Support construction with RFIs, submittals, and site visits
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters and support team development
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months via reciprocity
- Experience designing HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

- Annual Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000
