Job description
1) Fill Prescriptions for Pharmacy RX within the standards of State Pharmacy Board
and Federal Laws.
2) Ultimately responsible for controlling Pharmacy Inventory within the limits of State
& Federal Controlled Substance Laws.
3) Act as an expert resource for all Pharmacy questions.
4) Clinical problem solving.
5) Responsible for the training and education of store staff as it relates to Pharmacy
operations.
6) Special projects as deemed necessary.
7) Perform all functions consistent with the day to day operations of a retail pharmacy
including processing, compounding, and preparing prescriptions, advising
physicians, inventory control, counseling patients on prescriptions, OTC & health
related items with necessary instructions, and processing third party plans.
8) Ensure good customer service is provided to all patients, and complaints are
handled in an appropriate and professional manner.
9) Organize store's documentation and pharmacy layout in order to expedite and
ensure the accuracy of drug processing.
10) Provide MTM services and Immunizations to patients.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's of Science degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh)
