Job DetailsJob Location: The Gallery + The Forge - Vista, CA 92081Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00KITCHEN ASSISTANT About This Role The Kitchen Assistant is vital to the success of the team and is responsible for cleaning all the equipment used in the kitchen. This role may also be participating in limited preparation of food such as cleaning and chopping as needed. Energy, enthusiasm, and passion for work, the people, and the clients are key to achieving success in this role.   What You’ll Do Responsibilities May Include: Wash and store appropriately all dishes, cookware, glasses, flatware, and other utensils Clean all food preparation machines and equipment as directed Ensure all work areas are clean and hygienic according to the kitchen plan Dispose of all trash appropriately Assist in the unloading and storage of vendor and company deliveries as well as the loading of company delivery vans Wash, peel, chop, and cut food as directed Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For Experience: Previous experience working in a restaurant or catering kitchen preferred   Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to stand or walk for up to eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement and the ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
