Service Parts and Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Coordinator to support our supply chain and customer service operations. This position will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound freight while also managing the day-to-day fulfillment of customer service orders.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Transportation

· Coordinate select inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

· Schedule pickups and deliveries while ensuring shipments are ready when transportation arrives.

· Obtain freight quotes and coordinate the most cost-effective shipping methods.

· Prepare and maintain bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and other required documentation.

· Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues.

· Coordinate LTL, parcel, and other freight shipments as needed.

· Maintain accurate shipment records and provide tracking information to appropriate personnel.

· Work with carriers to resolve delivery issues, damages, shortages, and other freight-related concerns.

Customer Service Orders

· Systematically process outbound customer service/warranty orders.

· Pull parts accurately from inventory based on customer service orders.

· Log shipments in historical trackers.

· Verify part numbers, quantities, and order requirements before shipment.

· Package parts appropriately to prevent damage during transit.

· Coordinate expedited shipments when required.

· Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.

· Communicate shipment status and tracking information to the appropriate customer service personnel.

· Identify inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged material and escalate issues as needed.

· Maintain an organized shipping and customer service order area.

· Maintain images within web-based customer order portal.

Inventory & Warehouse Support

· Assist with maintaining accurate inventory through daily cycle counts.

· Maintain an organized and efficient warehouse/shipping environment.

· Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, packaging, freight costs, and overall efficiency.

· Support other supply chain and warehouse activities as needed.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehouse, customer service, or a related field preferred.

· Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to prioritize multiple orders and shipments simultaneously.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.

· Experience with an ERP/MRP system preferred.

· Ability to read and understand packing lists, purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping documentation.

· Ability to safely lift and move packages and parts as required.

· Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
