Rate is $35.33 an hour with a 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating work schedule from 6p-6a.

We are seeking a proficient heavy equipment mechanic to keep our facility running smoothly and efficiently.

 

  • As our new Mobile Equipment Mechanic, you will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul a variety of equipment.
  • Use your experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to maintain our loaders, forklift trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and man lifts.
  • Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform to governmental regulations.
  • Maintain safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensure that proper work procedures and practices are followed.
  • Comply with all safety standards and regulations driven by our SAFE culture
  • Read and comprehend operation and parts manuals
  • Must be able to work from elevated levels, operating mobile equipment, pneumatic and electrical hand tools / jacks.
  • Accurately recording hours and components for each task

  • Ability to follow instructions and understand diagnostic tools
  • Reliability of attendance
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Read and comprehend operation and parts manuals
  • Prior heavy equipment maintenance experience required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
