Job DetailsJob Location: Wabash MPI/Carver, Inc. - Wabash, IN 46992Travel Percentage: NoneApplicant responsible for picking and staging parts for presses and kits.    Job will include picking, packing parts orders and assembling kits.  Responsibilities also include physically receiving material and entering information on the computer; maintaining a shortage list, tracking shortages, and general warehouse duties.  Other duties and responsibilities assigned.    Metrics:  Foster a team-based approach focused on continuous improvement in every step of the value chain.  Promote a safe and clean work environment.  Provide industry’s best order-to-shipment lead time.  Improve cost of quality by 20%.  Provide on time delivery performance; 95% for equipment and 98.5% for parts.  Minimize internal and external failure.  Support your department’s PD’s.  Qualifications Must have skills to requisition material (both stock and special items) used in the assembly of presses and kit assemblies.   Requires ability to read blue prints, bill of materials, pick-lists, shipping and receiving document and must possess good math skills.    Proficient in using computer applications and ERP systems.  Position will require lifting up to 50#.
