Metis is searching for a Risk Control Consultant to join our Risk Control Team!

You'll Do Things Like:

Evaluate client loss exposures and potential risk factors, and recommend appropriate risk management practices for automobile, property, general liability, law enforcement, and workers’ compensation exposures.
Develop and conduct training and seminars on safety and risk management topics.
Conduct facility safety assessments focused on potential workers’ compensation, general liability, and fire safety risks.
Prepare detailed safety assessment reports, including client communications, photographs, hazard statements, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two (2) or more years of experience in risk management, safety, or a related field required.
Strong public speaking, communication, and computer skills required.
College degree preferred.
GSP, ASP, CSP, OSHA, or ARM designation(s) or ability to obtain, preferred.

Additional Requirements:

Ability and willingness to travel in Virginia and / or West Virginia using a personal vehicle.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $65,000 annually, depending on education, certifications, and experience.
