Meriwether Godsey is looking for Full-time and Part-time Food Service Associates at Hollins University, located in Roanoke, VA.

Full-time: Must be available to work as follows: 6am-2:30pm, including weekends, $17 per hour

Part-time: Must be available to work as follows: 3pm-7pm (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday), $16 per hour

What you will do:

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner
Transport food & supplies to cafeteria area: assist in the set-up, maintenance, & breakdown of the cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas.
Serves and replenishes food from food counters and steam tables.
Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
Keep cafeteria areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.

What you will need:

2-3 years related food service and/or cafeteria experience preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent communication and good organizational skills
Flexibility; ability to switch between job duties
ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred.
Reliable Transportation
