As part of our Google Cloud Transformation, CME Group is adopting a Product Operating Model to align business vision with technical execution. We are forming cross-functional "Pods" that bring together complementary skill sets to own products from design through to operation.

We are looking for a Sr. Scrum Master to support one of these product teams. In this role, you will guide the team through the adoption of Agile best practices, facilitating a smooth workflow and ensuring the team is prepared to meet current and future demands. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and consistent quality as we expand this operating model across the organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the team’s transition to the Product Operating Model by coaching members on Agile principles, ensuring alignment with our cloud transformation objectives

  • Lead Scrum events including Planning, Syncs, and Retrospectives to maintain alignment and gather structured feedback

  • Identify and remove process or technical impediments to maintain a consistent delivery pace and minimize disruptions

  • Partner closely with Product Owners to assist with backlog management, roadmap refinement, and readiness for strategic planning sessions

  • Track and communicate key progress indicators (sprint health, risk, and velocity) to provide transparency and support data-informed decision-making

  • Cultivate a constructive environment by facilitating conflict resolution, encouraging open communication, and supporting team development

  • Represent the team in broader synchronization meetings to manage dependencies and ensure the team remains synced with organizational goals

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 3 years of experience as a project team member, with a minimum of 2 years dedicated to Agile software development and coaching

  • Strong understanding of the SDLC framework and proven application of Agile techniques (e.g., User Stories, Sizing and CI/CD concepts)

  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence

  • Excellent listening and organizational skills with the ability to lead with empathy and maintain focus amidst distractions

  • Leading by serving the team, empowering them and A steady approach to resolving team disagreements and building consensus

  • Experience in Agile Cloud Transformation or regulated financial environments is beneficial

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) is a plus

  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to adopt new technologies to support team workflows

The pay range for this role is $100,700-$167,800. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant).
