PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist patients with inquiries about pharmacy services.
- Provide information in a friendly and professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
- Communicate and provide service excellence to patients and other partners, utilizing the AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank) framework to ensure all interactions are patient-centered and contribute to a positive patient experience.
- Provide non-drug information to patients and clinicians and answer appropriate questions.

Inventory Management:
- Help manage pharmacy inventory by restocking bags and empty medication vials as needed.
- Check patient鈥檚 medication batches for completeness of information prior to sacking and dispensing to patient.

聽Transaction Processing:
- Operate point-of-sale system by accurately balancing a cash drawer and processing receipts.
- Reconcile daily payments received with computer totals and prepare an accurate bank deposit.

聽Day to Day Pharmacy Operations:
- Assist patients at the point of sale by dispensing all the requested medications to the correct patient.
- Assist in bagging prescriptions safely and appropriately.
- Store bagged medications in the assigned will-call, delivery, and shipping areas.
- Provide excellent patient care through providing patient鈥檚 medications at the Pharmacy Curbside.
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
Compliance:
- Follow all state and federal pharmacy policies and procedures regarding the handling of medications and patient information.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent.

SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Knowledge of pharmacy operations and safety standards. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
