Job DetailsJob Location: Waco, TX - 7111 Imperial Dr. - Waco, TX 76712Position Type: Full Time  JOB DESCRIPTION   Title: Counter Sales Associate Department: Sales Counter   General Summary:  The primary responsibility of this employee is to process orders from walk-in customers.   Material is purchased on account, credit card, cash, and check. They are also responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise received by mail, telephone, or personally, from a Customer or company employee.   Key Responsibilities: Enters customer order into the business system. Completes orders by filling, checking, and processing orders. Maintains a balanced cash drawer. Provides customers with basic technical support. Handles incoming returns from customers and forwards to the returns department. Assists in processing returns when requested by CSRM Processor, Operations Manager, or Branch Manager. Restocks material that is not sold on a daily basis. Frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions product weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted when stocking, loading or unloading products. Operates forklift: proper training and certification required. May also use material handling equipment (including pallet jack, dollies and handcart. Assists in maintaining a neat & professional counter area, including general housekeeping as needed. Assists in daily warehouse operations when requested by the leader/supervisor/manager. Makes urgent pick-ups and deliveries as directed by the Branch Manager. Assists in creating, implementing, and revising procedures and work instructions. Supports the quality initiatives set forth by the Region.   Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent required.  Two or more years of work experience in warehouse operations are preferred. Two or more years of knowledge of internal operations and products authorized to be distributed through MMG preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers professionally. Ability to work with minimal supervision, organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks.
