Job Description
Crest Pool Service is hiring a Certified Pool Technician to join our full-time team. In this role, you'll service residential and/or commercial pools — maintaining water quality, inspecting equipment, and ensuring every pool is safe and sparkling clean. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with pool maintenance experience, plus room to grow your skills and earnings.
Responsibilities
- Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
- Clean pools, skim debris, vacuum, and brush walls and tile
- Inspect and maintain pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment
- Diagnose and repair common equipment issues, or escalate as needed
- Open and close pools seasonally
- Maintain accurate service logs for each stop on your route
- Communicate professionally with customers about pool condition and recommended repairs
- Identify and recommend additional services or products to customers
- Follow all safety protocols when handling pool chemicals
Requirements
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred
- Prior experience in pool maintenance or service preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Basic mechanical/troubleshooting ability
