Prep Cook Responsibilities:
Handle, portion, prepare, and store ingredients efficiently to support the timely and smooth operation of the kitchen.
Strictly follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices, to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and prevent foodborne illnesses.
Assist in monitoring ingredient levels and communicate with the management team to ensure adequate stock levels for daily food preparation.
Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate food preparation tasks and maintain a well-organized prep area, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient production during peak hours.
Complete tasks as assigned by the chefs.
Prep Cook Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred experience in a culinary setting
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Exceptional time management skills.
Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 20 pounds.
Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
