Work Schedule: 15-20 hours/week, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., some after-hours special events possible, will vary on availability

Job Description:

The Baylor Alumni, Parent, and Philanthropic Engagement team is seeking a thoughtful, engaging, detail-oriented individual to provide visitor services support in the McLane Family Alumni Center located within the Mark and Paula Hurd Welcome Center. This position will work closely with the Visitor Services Coordinator and provide administrative support to the overall team. 
Job duties: 
•   Assist with greeting / managing in-person guests, managing phone calls, and responding to general alumni emails; provide excellent customer service to all constituents. Assume all Visitor Services Coordinator duties when they are out of office or away from the front desk. 
•   Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the McLane Family Alumni Center.
•   Collect, update, and maintain confidentiality of constituent data in CRM software system. 
•   Serve as a Baylor University subject matter expert to answer or help facilitate answering constituent questions. 
•   Stay informed of University and Division events, initiatives, and priorities. 
Specialized skills:
•   Highly skilled at effectively communicating with diverse audiences through a variety of communication channels, including in person, email, and phone.
•   Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail; effective multitasking and prioritizing.  
•   Takes initiative and can work independently.
•   Strong discernment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
•   Advanced learner and utilizer of software programs and other technology.

•   Interest and appreciation for alumni, parent, and philanthropic engagement.
•   Professional demeanor and appearance.
•   Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
