Position Summary

The Service Coordinator supports daily shop and field service operations by coordinating work orders, technician scheduling, customer communication, parts logistics, and operational reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient service workflow and delivering strong customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shop and field service operations
  • Create and support service jobs/work orders in Epicor ERP
  • Help schedule technicians and monitor job progress and completion
  • Build customer quotes, repair estimates, and service documentation
  • Generate purchase orders and coordinate parts ordering and receiving
  • Support field technicians with parts staging and shipment coordination
  • Track open work orders, labor hours, invoicing, and job costing
  • Communicate with customers regarding approvals, scheduling, and repair status
  • Work with vendors on parts availability, delays, and escalations
  • Review completed jobs for invoicing accuracy and completeness
  • Support process improvements and workflow efficiency initiatives
  • Create and maintain SOPs and service process documentation
  • Assist leadership with operational planning and reporting
  • Support multi-site service coordination initiatives


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or Associates Degree 
  • 3-5 Year of experience service coordination, or shop operations 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
  • Knowledge of service invoicing, estimating, and scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
