Mobile Service Technician (Light Duty) at Fury Ford of Waconia

Fury Ford of Waconia is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Mobile Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role brings the dealership experience directly to our customers by providing light-duty maintenance and minor repair services at homes, workplaces, and other off-site locations.
As a Mobile Service Technician, you’ll combine hands-on technical skills with exceptional customer service while working independently in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong customer relationships outside of the traditional shop environment.

What You’ll Do:
Mobile Service & Vehicle Maintenance
- Travel to customer locations using a fully equipped mobile service vehicleÂ
- Perform light-duty maintenance  and repair services, including:Â
- Oil and filter changesÂ
- Tire rotations and basic tire servicesÂ
- Battery testing and replacementÂ
- Brake inspections and minor repairsÂ
- Fluid checks and top-offsÂ
- Wiper blade, bulb, and basic component replacementÂ
- Diagnose basic mechanical  concerns and determine when additional shop service may be neededÂ
- Complete services efficiently while maintaining dealership quality standardsÂ
Customer Experience
- Represent Fury Motors professionally during all customer interactionsÂ
- Clearly explain services, findings, and recommendationsÂ
- Provide friendly, transparent, Â and trustworthy serviceÂ
- Educate customers on vehicle maintenance and preventative careÂ
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at customer locationsÂ
Operations & Organization
- Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and cleanliness of the mobile service vehicleÂ
- Accurately document work performed, inspections, and recommendationsÂ
- Utilize dealership software and mobile technology for work orders, scheduling, and time trackingÂ
- Coordinate routing and scheduling with the service departmentÂ
- Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety proceduresÂ
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of automotive technician experience preferredÂ
- Light-duty maintenance and repair experience strongly preferredÂ
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record requiredÂ
- Strong customer service and communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionÂ
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, and service softwareÂ
- ASE certifications are a plus, but not requiredÂ
Compensation & Benefits:
$20.00 – $28.00 per hour
Compensation based on experience, certifications, and performance.
