Bakery Production Team Lead - Full Time

Job Description: Hourly Lead Person in the Bakery Department and responsible for supervising the Department's manufacturing activities while working as a First Baker.  This person will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of his/her assigned shift and the preparation of Bakery items for sale. They will report to the Bakery Manager.

This person's primary duties include: scheduling and overseeing the Bakery counter, as well as, following the Manufacturing schedule for maximum yield and productivity, using formulas, scaling product, preparing mixes, baking product, finishing merchandise, preparing it for sale, monitoring quality, controlling expenses, sanitation, and housekeeping; as well as, merchandising the department for maximum sales.  Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.

1. Available: Must be available to be scheduled 35+hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs
2. Previous Experience: Must be an experienced Production Baker, Helper, or Apprentice with thorough knowledge of scratch bakery operations and a demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of scratch bakery operations with a thorough knowledge of Department standards. Previous First Baker experience Preferred.
3. Physical Demands: Lifting, Bending, Stooping, Pulling And Pushing With Repetitive Lifting To 50#; Occasional Lifting To 80#.
