Position Highlights

Starting Rate of Pay $32.50

with extra consideration for experience

$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
$10,000, 3-YEAR CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS

Under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor and/or their delegate, the Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures following established standards

 and practices.  Assumes responsibility for designated areas of procedures as required and provides patient care/service/safety in accordance with regulatory and accrediting

 agencies standards.  May be assigned responsibility as an instructor.  Will help with call and in other specialized areas after proper training and/or experience. 

• Performs various radiology procedures that produce examinations of premium diagnostic quality according to department policy and procedure on a daily basis. Share responsibility of performing EKG’s with nursing.

• Follows infection control procedures and administers oral and IV contrast media utilizing sterile technique and practicing universal precautions.

General Hours of Work

• Rotating Shifts Sunday through Saturday, scheduled at 36 hours per week

• Call rotation as assigned

Education

• Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology, certification eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  ARRT or equivalent.

License / Certification

• ARRT or equivalent Certificate or other verifying documentation of passing the certification test is required.   

• Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program is required and provided by WCMH-A.
