UNIBODY Autotech Collision

$20–$25/hour | Full-Time | Growth Opportunity

About the Role

UNIBODY Autotech Collision is looking for a 2nd Class Auto Body Technician who knows how to move metal, not just replace parts.

This role is perfect for a tech skilled in light collision repair, dent correction, and body filler work — someone who takes pride in clean, straight panels and efficient repairs.

You’ll work alongside a high-level production team using modern tools and OEM-aligned processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform light body repairs on dents, dings, and minor collision damage
  • Execute bondo/body filler work to a paint-ready finish
  • Use glue pull systems (GluPull) for non-invasive dent repair
  • Operate BETAG Flatliner pin systems for precision metal correction
  • Repair doors, fenders, and quarter panels without unnecessary replacements
  • Perform plastic bumper repairs (crack repair, reshaping, refinishing prep)
  • Sand, prep, and finish panels to meet refinish standards
  • Work with estimators and production team to hit cycle time goals

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3+ years experience in auto body repair
  • Strong skills in:
    • Dent repair & metal finishing
    • Body filler (bondo) application
    • Sanding and panel prep
  • Experience with glue pull systems or stud welding tools (preferred)
  • Understanding of panel straightening vs replacement strategy
  • Ability to work fast without sacrificing quality
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Why Join UNIBODY

  • Work in a modern, high-performing collision center
  • Learn advanced repair techniques (EV + OEM standards)
  • Be part of a team that values skill, not just speed
  • Opportunity to grow into 1st Class Tech / Structural Tech
