Minimum 5 years retail management experience required to be considered.
Goals
- Responsible for a positive customer service experience.
- Ensure all associates comply with company policies.
- Ensure team members are engaged, motivated and productive.
- Maintain daily operation of the store.
- Maintain merchandising, general appearance and cleanliness of store.
Specific duties relating to goals.
- Monitor interactions between customers and employees to find areas for acceleration and development.
  - Implement action plans to teach and reinforce or correct behavior.
- Maintain appropriate scheduling basing labor hours on business needs.
- Cover hours when store is shorthanded.
  - Responsible for ensuring employees are at work when needed or that hours are covered appropriately.
- Cross all departments to check that tasks are being done; employees have clear jobs for the shift.
- Handle customer concerns and errors at registers/POS.
- Communicate regularly with other managers and supervisors to ensure employees are productive.
- Work with all employees to create an optimal shopping experience.
- Perform employee evaluations regularly or when needed. Communicate needs and evaluations with personnel manager and GM.
Other duties
- Assist customers to build sales.
- Facilitate education for employees.
Position requirements
- Strong leadership ability.
- Minimum 5 years retail management.
- Knowledge of and passion for outdoors activities.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.

- Ability to keep others on task.
- Willingness to leverage performance management in instances of policy violations.
