The Food Bank is looking for a Freezer Selector who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You are the muscle behind the mission-ensuring that frozen proteins and essentials are accurately selected and safely packed for the families who need them most. If you're someone who likes to stay active, works well independently, and doesn't mind a little "chill" in your workday, we want you on our team.

The Mission (What You'll Do):

As a Freezer Selector, you are responsible for the "No Crumbs Left Behind" level of accuracy. You'll fulfill orders with precision and build pallets that keep our community fed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precision Selection: Use handheld scanners to pull specific products for agency orders. Accuracy is your middle name.
• Pallet Architecture: Safely build and label pallets for delivery and pickup. You know how to stack it so it stays "Locked In" during transit.
• Inventory Stewardship: Act as our eyes and ears on the floor-reporting damages, missing tags, or inventory inaccuracies immediately.
• The "Replenishment" Flow: Keep the picking locations stocked from reserve inventory so the mission never slows down.
• Safety First: Inspect power equipment daily and maintain a clean, pest-free, and safe workspace. We follow all safety standards to the letter.
• Team Player: Assist with large-scale inventory counts and collaborate with the whole warehouse crew to hit our goals.

Who You Are:

• Qualified: 18+ years old.
• Power Equipment Pro: You have experience with warehouse power equipment (or the drive to get certified and stay certified with us!).
• Mission-Minded: You understand that every pallet you build represents hundreds of meals for our neighbors.
• Independent & Reliable: You can take an order list and run with it, but you're always ready to help a teammate when needed.

Physical Vibe Check:

This is an athletic role that requires stamina and a "Hot Tamale" work ethic to beat the "Iced Coffee" temperatures.

• The Elements: You'll be working in typical warehouse settings and exposed to extreme cold (freezer temperatures).
• The Heavy Lifting: You must be able to lift up to 80 pounds solo.
• The Movement: Expect extended periods of standing, bending, pulling, and reaching. This job keeps you moving!
