This position performs all functions in Central Processing Department. Cleans, decontaminates, sterilizes according to unit needs and requests. Must take call on a rotating basis during hours the Central Processing Department is not open. Performs any other related duties as assigned such as: completes, records and reports all biological monitoring, and air removal tests. Periodic inventory inspections to maintain adequate stock and supply levels.

Required Qualifications:Â
- National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire or,Â
- National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.Â
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's Degree - Business Administration.Â
- Coursework/Training - Successful completion of an education training course for Supply Chain Management or another course of similar subject content.Â
- 4 years - Inventory control, materials management in a computerized environment.Â
- 1 year - Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem solving, organizational and customer service abilities with at least 1 year as a lead, coordinator or supervisor, with extensive knowledge of supply chain management in a healthcare organization
- Supervisor or manager of Central Supply, Distribution Services or Warehouse departments in a healthcare organization.Â
