About the role:

Lead complex and strategic projects within our power generation and oilfield equipment packaging business. As the primary interface with customers, this roleĀ is responsible forĀ ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, andĀ meetĀ contractual obligations whileĀ maintainingĀ high customer satisfaction. The Senior Project Manager will also collaborate with the sales team to assess project risks and improve execution strategies during the quotation process.Ā 

  

Key Responsibilities:  

Ā· Develop, manage, and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to align with customer requirements and businessĀ objectives.Ā 

Ā· Full project lifecycle ownership from order intake, managing delivery, and installation to pre-commissioning activities, including commissioning till contractual handover to the end-customerĀ 
Ā· Project scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of project progress to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables to ensure in-time order execution  Ā Ā 

Ā· Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on high-value and strategic projects toĀ identifyĀ and mitigate execution risks.Ā 

Ā· Lead project teams, mentoring team members and contributing to their professional development.Ā 

Ā· Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.Ā 

Ā·Ā IdentifyĀ and manage project risks whileĀ maintainingĀ a customer-centric approach.Ā 

Ā· Recognize business development and expansion opportunities within ongoing projects.Ā 

Ā· Negotiate and manage change orders toĀ optimizeĀ project margins.Ā 

Ā· EnsureĀ accurateĀ revenue recognition,Ā invoicing, and dispute resolution toĀ maintainĀ financial integrity.Ā 

Ā· Analyze and report project financial performance, including profitability, revenue, margins, andĀ utilization.Ā 

Ā·Ā MaintainĀ clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, both internal and external.Ā 

Ā· Ensure compliance with company and industry QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards.Ā 

Ā· Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee procurement of project-related materials.Ā 

Ā· Provide input on continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.Ā 

  

Qualifications & Experience   

Ā·Ā Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, orĀ a relatedĀ field (or equivalent experience).Ā 

Ā· min. 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the power generation, oil & gas, or industrial equipment sectors.Ā 

Ā·Ā DemonstratedĀ success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Ā 

Ā· Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment.Ā 

Ā· Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.Ā 

Ā· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.Ā 

Ā· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and Oracle ERP systems.Ā 

Ā· PMP certification is a plus but not mandatoryĀ 

  

Work Environment & Physical Requirements   

Ā· Office-based with occasional site visits asĀ required.Ā 

Ā· Manual dexterityĀ requiredĀ for computer use and office tasks.Ā 

Ā· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Ā 

Ā· Some overtime may beĀ requiredĀ based on project demands.Ā
