Lynd Management Group is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to guide prospective residents through the leasing journey—from their first inquiry and property tour to application approval and move-in.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond promptly to telephone, email, internet, and in-person inquiries.
  • Build rapport with prospects and identify their apartment preferences and needs.
  • Schedule and conduct engaging property and apartment tours.
  • Communicate the property’s features, amenities, and value.
  • Use professional sales and follow-up techniques to meet leasing goals.
  • Process applications, screening documents, leases, deposits, and move-in paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate guest cards and applicant and resident files.
  • Walk apartments before move-in to confirm they are ready.
  • Proactively contact residents regarding lease renewals.
  • Build relationships with apartment locators and other referral sources.
  • Complete market surveys and support marketing and outreach activities.
  • Receive resident maintenance requests and follow up on completed service.
  • Monitor the property’s appearance and report safety or maintenance concerns.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One to three years of leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience.
  • Strong sales, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional customer service.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage prospects, follow-up activities, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • RealPage OneSite experience preferred.
  • Ability to use company technology, screening tools, and property management systems.
  • Ability to walk the property, conduct tours, and visually inspect apartments.
