Position Summary:

The project coordinator supports the project managers by handling daily tasks, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish by managing schedules, documentation, communication, and resources, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and budgets, acting as a central point for team alignment and stakeholder updates.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project plans, managing timelines, track progress, and ensure deliverables are on schedule.
  • Serve as a key contact, facilitating communication, distributing updates, and ensuring stakeholders are informed.
  • Maintain project records, update schedules, and prepare progress reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Help with resource allocation, monitor budgets, and ensure efficient use of materials and personnel.
  • Handle various organizational tasks to keep project operations efficient. 
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge / Skills /Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Diligence in tracking progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Familiarity with project management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong ability to plan and coordinate with different departments and facilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in English

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (preferably in forging, welding & machining)

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Exposure to certain contaminants, at times.
  • Duties performed in office, and production shop, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • Fast paced
  • Required personal protective equipment when in designated areas.
  • Stand, bend, sit, stoop, crawl, squat, kneel, lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and walk for 8-10 hours per day.
  • Regularly required to hear and talk.
  • Must have the ability to see close.
  • Be able to withstand exposure to Production Environment.
  • Be able to tolerate high noise levels with the protection of earplugs.
