Job Description

As a Security Officer Secure Entry Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support daily security-related operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor and document the entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vehicles, checking credentials, authorizations, and delivery information in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns and/or unusual activity through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, yards, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, damaged barriers, and/or other security-related issues.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and visitor records, and communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
