Job Description:
The RN Informatics Analyst II - Epic (Beacon) supports assigned application user group(s) to help users leverage information technology to improve operational efficiency. He/She develops, delivers, and ensures effectiveness of training programs. The individual in this role will rely on conceptual knowledge and problem-solving skills to perform assignments and improve efficiencies within existing applications. This position provides ITS solutions and services which ultimately contribute to patient safety and care.Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Required in 
- Healthcare or 
- Informatics or 
- Education or 
- Business or 
- Information Systems 
- or experience/alternative degree considered in lieu of education 
Experience:
- 2 years Healthcare Operations (clinical, business or education) Required and 
- 1 year Healthcare technology environment Preferred or related experience 
- 1 year Curriculum design and training delivery Preferred 
Additional Experience:
- Must be available for on-call user support when necessary. 
Certifications/Licensures:
- RN - Registered Nurse - Current California License Required 
- Vendor Proficiency/Certification Status - One Application Preferred 
- Epic Beacon Certification strongly preferred  
Skills:
- Multimedia education tools (e.g. Adobe Captivate and/or Camtasia) experience preferred. 
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio skills required. 
- Epic Research Clinical application experience strongly preferred
