Position Summary:
Il Fornaio is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our front-of-house team. As a Server, you are the ambassador of hospitality, guiding guests through our menu, sharing knowledge of Italian food and wine, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable dining experience.

What You'll Do:

• Greet guests with warmth and genuine hospitality

• Guide guests through the menu with confidence, offering recommendations and upselling when appropriate

• Deliver food and beverages with accuracy, efficiency, and elegance

• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set throughout service

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff

• Uphold Il Fornaio's standards of service, quality, and cleanliness

• Handle guest concerns or complaints with grace, urgency, and professionalism

• Comply with all food safety and sanitation standards

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience as a server in an upscale or high-volume restaurant preferred

• Strong knowledge or interest in Italian cuisine and wine

• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
