Job Description:

Provides project management support to planning, design and construction of healthcare projects or to a business strategy (involving a number of projects). The project coordinator supports the project management team in any/all phases of project delivery including business planning; planning; scoping; securing funding and approvals; estimating; design; securing permits; construction; equipping; furnishing; signage implementation; move-in; project close-out; reports; and presentations.
The Project Coordinator will support the project management team and assist with overall direction, administration, completion of project, as well as financial and schedule outcomes. Supports and assists the project teams including facility engineers; ITS; purchasing; financial staff; as well as, contracted consultants (architects, engineers, etc.) vendor and contractors. Responsible for developing project scope, budget and schedule with oversight from a Sr. Project Manager and / or Director.

Education:

  • Associate Degree in Design, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field preferred

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of related experience required

  • Working knowledge of principals of construction management/ project management, architecture, interior design, engineering and construction required

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook) required

  • Experience with MS Project and/ or Project budget management system required

Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Works well in a team environment

  • A high degree of organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and the ability to complete tasks under strict time lines is required.

Work Shift:

Exempt Days (Mon-Fri) (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$48.42 - $72.62Hourly

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
