The Stationary Engineer shall, under direction of the Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, and/or Medical Center, operate and maintain all steam, electrical, refrigeration, and all mechanical equipment in the Medical Center. The Stationary Engineer shall also perform all other duties traditionally performed by the Stationary Engineer in the Medical Center, including but not limited to those duties identified below. All Stationary Engineers will comply with all federal, state, local laws and regulations as well as the Employer's safety polices and directives. The Stationary Engineers shall, if and when call upon, perform any or all of the following skilled and technical duties but not necessarily limited to performing work under a work order or computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), operating or assisting in operating all heating and ventilation and air conditioning equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, filters, dryers, fans, siphons, also automatic and power-oiling pumps and engines, as well as other such normal or evolved building systems as installed within the building(s), more specifically described as follows: Experience: 2 years Plant Operations Preferred Healthcare Setting Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Chlorofluorocarbon (Type II or greater) - No Issuing Agency Achieved Prior to or within 12 months of hire CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training- Required within 30-days of hire and renewal annually or within 30-days of return from a leave of absence Skills: Basic computer and typing skills are required.
