Job Description:
The Hyperbaric Technologist administers hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Physician. They are responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems and for the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patient.Certifications/Licensures:
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required and
CHT Certified Hyperbaric Technologist - National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology Required within 1 year of hire
RCP Respiratory Care Practitioner - California Respiratory Care Board Required or
Corpsman or Medical Services Specialist Required or
EMT Emergency Medical Technicians - California Emergency Medical Services Required or
Paramedic License - California Emergency Medical Services Required or
U.S. Air Force Aerospace Physiology Specialist Required or
U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Hyperbaric Training Required or
U.S. Navy, Army, or Coast Guard Diver (1st Class, 2nd Class or Master Diver designation) Required

$31.60 - $42.67HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
