The CT Technologist is responsible for providing safe patient care, assisting the physician during procedures, performing CT procedures under the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist, and providing a safe procedure environment for patients undergoing invasive procedures. Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiologic Technology - Required Certificate Venipuncture - Required Experience: 2 years Healthcare/Medical General x-ray - Required Certifications/Licensures: Radiologic Technologist - Certified (CRT) Current California - Required BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required Rad Techs - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required CT Computed Tomography - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Must be Obtained within 6 months of hire for new hires Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. prior CT experience needed
