Reports to the Senior Manager, Financial Operations and Reporting, with significant interaction across Corporate Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Development functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of the corporate intercompany accounting process and will possess superior analytical and technical skills. Intercompany transactions include but are not limited to the following; tax strategy and planning, execution of corporate treasury initiatives, intercompany allocations, and M&A capital deployment transactions.  The accuracy and timely reporting of intercompany transactions is critical to Veralto’s consolidated financial close for both Actuals and Forecast.  The candidate will work closely with key corporate personnel and will be a key point of contact for Operating Company Controllers with respect to intercompany accounting.

This position is ideally based at Veralto’s corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA, and offers a flexible hybrid work environment. We welcome applications from candidates located in Waltham or nearby areas within a reasonable commuting distance who can regularly work from the office. Travel is expected to be minimal, estimated at up to 5% annually.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

  • Execute strategic accounting initiatives for strategic tax and M&A initiatives affecting domestic and international entities.
  • Support the preparation and review over allocations, invoices, and reconciliations of centralized corporate costs (insurance, shared services, technology, etc.) across Operating Companies.
  • Coordinate with Tax and Treasury on legal-entity funding, capital contributions, dividends, and other intercompany transactions.
  • Help administer corporate accounting systems, including Oracle, OneStream, and other proprietary intercompany reporting tools. 
  • Support the preparation and analysis of the monthly reporting packages for Actuals and Forecast used by Veralto leadership teams.
  • Participate in global finance projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, increasing standard work, and creating global best practice processes. 
  • Assist in the maintenance of a strong SOX-compliant control environment.
  • Support, as required, acquisitions, including  post-acquisition integration activities.
  • Support functional areas, as required, by providing financial and business analytic support.
  • Drive the expanded usage of new technologies, such as AI and Alteryx, in the execution of activities.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Finance or Accounting 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or other relevant certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with intercompany accounting fundamentals and processes. 
  • Understanding of tax planning and treasury accounting preferred. 
  • A working knowledge of US GAAP is expected.

A highly qualified candidate may also have some of the experience below:

  • Large international manufacturing industry experience 
  • Oracle (ERP), Alteryx, and OneStream tools experience, along with Access/Sequel databases

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 USD per year.
