Thomas, a Xometry company, is the leading platform for industrial sourcing and digital marketing. We help manufacturers grow their businesses through high-impact digital advertising, SEO, and content marketing services. This role is critical to maintaining the data integrity and lead flow that keeps our Sales and Marketing engines running at scale.

We're looking for a data-driven analyst to serve as a strategic partner to Sales leadership, turning complex data into clear, actionable insight. In this role, you'll own our Sales dashboards end-to-end, build quota and performance models that inform revenue forecasting, and translate ambiguous business questions into analyses that shape executive decision-making. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Data Engineering, and Finance to ensure data accuracy across systems, while using SQL, Looker/LookML, and advanced Excel skills to deliver insights that matter. This is a high-visibility role for someone who combines strong technical chops with excellent storytelling and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales leadership and senior executives to define key metrics, surface strategic insights, and inform decision-making
  • Translate business questions into analysis and deliver clear, actionable recommendations. Proactively identify risks and opportunities to surface to leadership
  • Own the end-to-end development, maintenance, and accuracy of Sales dashboards, proactively diagnosing and resolving data discrepancies
  • Build sales performance & quota models — analyzing historical trends and pipeline data to support quota setting, attainment tracking, and revenue forecasting for leadership
  • Create and optimize analytic models; develop reporting best practices
  • Serve as liaison between product, marketing, data engineering and finance to ensure data accuracy and availability, guiding data cleansing efforts as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Data/Business Analyst with a focus on sales analytics
  • Proficiency in SQL, Looker (not Looker Studio), and LookML
  • Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for analysis/modeling
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and how sales data flows through them
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders using data
  • Strong storytelling and executive communication skills — able to distill complex analysis for non-technical audiences
  • Ability to independently source, assess, and prioritize data for relevance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, competing priorities, and shifting requirements
  • Basic statistical literacy (e.g., trend analysis, forecasting, cohort analysis) to support deeper strategic asks

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with data cleansing processes
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership or executive audiences
  • Experience with Python or R for more advanced analysis
  • Exposure to sales quota/comp plan design
  • Experience working with dbt or similar data transformation tools
