Job DetailsJob Location: Kikkoman Foods Inc HQ and Walworth Plant - Walworth, WI 53184Job Shift: Third ShiftSummary: As an instrumentation technician, you will test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices. You'll also perform general maintenance on the equipment and design new measuring and recording equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: Repair and maintenance of electrical and process control systems for a highly automated food processing facility, to operate in the safest and most productive condition, supporting continuous improvement and reliability of equipment and building systems Possess the ability to troubleshooting 480 systems Installation, repair, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation used in process controls, analyzing systems, valves/actuators, and other pneumatically controlled devices Determines causes for malfunctioning instruments and takes appropriate action to improve system reliability Variable frequency drive programming and troubleshooting Reads and interprets electrical blueprints, schematics, P&ID and loop drawings Performs preventive maintenance on instrumentation & electrical equipment Working as part of a team but would routinely perform work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy and safety, while performing your duties Assists in the implementation and improvement of effective preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities Generate and maintain written procedures for maintenance tasks Follows all applicable good manufacturing practices (GMP's). Executes and documents planned and unplanned work via maintenance management system Leverages methodologies like root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment issues Assists in the maintenance of parts inventory Plan maintenance work with operations, contractors, and other plant staff “Call in” duties as requested by Maintenance supervision Depending on the situation, mechanical maintenance work may be required. Mentorship/training as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications
