About the Role:
Bobby's Auto Service Center is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team in Hayes, VA! This is a great opportunity to bring your automotive expertise to a shop that values quality work and takes pride in keeping customers on the road. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic inspections to identify mechanical and electrical vehicle issues
- Carry out routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Complete brake, suspension, and steering system repairs
- Conduct engine and drivetrain repairs as needed
- Use diagnostic scan tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues
- Document all services performed and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Maintain Punctuality
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic required
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing domestic and/or foreign vehicles
- ASE certification(s) preferred but not required
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
