Separator Operator

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

• Separator is to line boxes, fill boxes to the appropriate weight with the correct labels, and send up the conveyor through tape machine and the metal detector.  
• Run all products through the non-select line fill boxes to the appropriate weight with the correct labels, and send up the conveyor through tape machine and the metal detector.  Correctly fill out paperwork to keep track of batches of non-select also be able to switch screens over to run different products. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Daily: Separator

• Ensure Correct Screen configuration / change if needed
• Ensure correct labels / Change if needed
• Do metal detection paperwork as well as Optical Sorter checks 
• Conduct ball count and  scale checks with associated paperwork
• Change out liner rolls if needed logging them on the   tracking sheet
• Line boxes, fill to appropriate weigh and correctly label them
• Close boxes run up the conveyor through the tape machine and  metal detector
• Fill all HACCP and ABC samples and store in yellow tubs
• End of shift cleaning
