Position: Automotive Technician – Entry Level / Express Lane

Full-Time Opportunity
Schedule: Monday – Saturday - 5-day work week
Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, including:
- Oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, brake services
- Transmission, differential, and transfer case services
- Key fob programming, software updates, and NY State inspections
- Reset vehicle indicator and warning lights
Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
Collaborate with parts department for required components
Document all performed and recommended work on repair orders
Conduct vehicle road tests as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and shop area
Ensure all dealership tools and manuals are properly maintained
Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA and hazardous waste disposal
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and technical updates
Assist and mentor apprentice technicians as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong interest in automotive repair and maintenance
Ability to learn manufacturer procedures and product knowledge
Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
Valid driver’s license
