Project Manager - Large Projects
Â
Your main responsibilities
- Support sales efforts for Major Projects as needed
- Lead the transition of large projects through financial award
- Manage the handoff of projects from award into engineering
- Oversee the transition from engineering into the supply chain phase
- Communicate with Project Managers throughout engineering and procurement, addressing any areas of concern
- Identify process gaps and drive improvements by documenting, publishing, and enforcing best practices based on lessons learned
- Maintain and manage the national installation resource schedule for major projects
- Oversee major project assets, including installation tools and project-specific equipment
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in:
- Quotation management, Cadre, and major project costing
- Resource planning
- Leading large project transitions across key phases (award, engineering, and supply chain)
- Partnering with Project Managers to proactively address risks and challenges
- Driving process improvement and implementing best practices
- Managing national resource schedules and project assets
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred

5+ years of experience working on major projects within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of elevator systems, including application engineering

Experience working in cross-functional environments, including both direct and indirect reporting structures

Experience with construction project cost forecasting

Strong project management and resource/capacity planning capabilities

Experience managing internal processes and driving operational efficiency

Strong business acumen
-
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (including strong Excel skills); experience with MS Project preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences at all levels

Proven ability to build and maintain positive, collaborative, and team-oriented relationships with colleagues, leadership, clients, and external partners

Willingness to travel domestically as needed

Base Salary $113,400 - $141,700
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. Please note that the compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
